Once upon a time, in a land far away, a man in the middle of a long sea voyage found a people who lived upon a plant that brought peace and serenity to all those who consumed it. The man's friends tasted the fruit of this plant and lost all desire to return to their homeland, choosing instead to live peacefully amongst the eaters of the plant and to abandon their homes and family. The man was conflicted, for though he had been away for many years and wanted very much to return to his wife and son, here was a place to end his roaming and live in ease and indolence. Every traveller knows of such a place, has been to such a land, has felt such a conflict. This is my re-experience with one such locale.
